Our Telehealth Platform is designed to enhance the quality and accessibility of veterinary services, providing comprehensive care for animals through remote consultations, diagnostics, and treatment plans.

The platform provides mobile-based support and enhanced communication between livestock farmers, veterinarians,
and veterinary paraprofessionals (VPPs). The platform gives farmers access to vital information regarding disease awareness, preventive care, record keeping, and regulatory compliance.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team and drive the adoption and success of our platform.

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our team with various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our daily business activities.  

Key Responsibilities
Office Support: Perform general office duties such as answering and directing phone calls, managing correspondence, and welcoming visitors.

Scheduling: Manage and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel
arrangements for team members.

Document Management: Maintain, organize, and update files and records,
both physical and digital, ensuring they are easily accessible.

Communication: Serve as the point of contact for internal and external
communications, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Data Entry and Reporting: Input and update data in spreadsheets,
databases, and other systems; generate reports as requested.

Supplies Management: Track and order office supplies, ensuring availability without excess inventory.

Support Projects: Assist in various projects and initiatives, providing
administrative support and coordination as needed.

Expense Reporting: Prepare and process expense reports and invoices for the department.

Maintain Office Procedures: Develop and enforce efficient office procedures to optimize workflow and organizatio.

Professional Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, associate’s degree preferred

• 2+ years of experience as an administrative assistant or similar role

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficiency in Google Platform (Docs, Sheets, Mail, Slides, Meet) and familiarity with office equipment

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in fast-paced environment.

• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

• Fluency in English and Swahili.
